NIDA invests in research at our bases in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering Imperial College London and the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering Hong Kong PolyU. Both departments regularly attain top positions in the QS World ranking leagues for research and notably Imperial College attained 1st in the World in 2013.

Both Univeristies are at the forefront of structural engineering research. Our investment provides for the Engineering and Scientific industries providing knowledge, education and the tools required for future technological developments. NIDA promotes joint research projects between the two Universities and the exchange of technology and innovation.
